Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
July 13, 200915 yr Author I just noticed it's already in the Tracker... http://forums.invisionpower.com/tracker/issue-16787-strange-abnormality-in-view-new-content/
July 13, 200915 yr That original poster's native language is, I believe, Hebrew. That's a "right-to-left" language, and the post might be reflecting that somehow?
July 13, 200915 yr It's the backwards question mark. It's fooling the forum into thinking that it's going right to left, and therefore it's putting the pages backwards. It's not really a fixable issue.
July 13, 200915 yr OK, but what's generating the backwards question mark? That's not something the user did. All they can do is create the post title (and subtitle). Unless I'm missing something obvious....
July 13, 200915 yr I'm guessing the user had it on the end of the topic title. Still, that's weird.
July 13, 200915 yr [quote name='RainbowViper' date='13 July 2009 - 03:05 PM' timestamp='1247511921' post='1825626'] That's not something the user did. All they can do is create the post title (and subtitle). Unless I'm missing something obvious.... - Put backwards question mark from other language/charset in post title - Watch things go screwy ؟- ???؟
July 13, 200915 yr Am I the only one who like it like that? I think it is better in some ways to have last page first and vice versa. It saves people who have already read most of the topics to go straight to the last page instead of going through all the replys to read it. cap
