Its a pain when searching for something to see a bunch of stuff that has one or two words of the phrase even though its not what we were searching for. Most people dont know that? would it be that difficult to add this feature? Most all other bb scripts have this feature...why cant we have it? bfarber Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 To my knowledge must other BB scripts work the same way when using MySQL fulltext searching (which nearly all do)... It's how mysql processes the search. A plus sign + indicates the word must be included, a minus sign - indicates the word should not be included, and double quotes around the term mean "exact search". Even google searches work this way.
