Chidori Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 When uploading IP.Board 3.0.0 to my server, I noticed several thumbs.db files in the distribution package. They are present as of a couple of minutes ago. After doing a quick search in the .zip archive, I found a total the total of 14 thumbs.db files with a combined (uncompressed) filesize of 530 KB. While they don't pose a threat or concern, it might be worth removing them as they serve no purpose in the package.
wepfijweoifj Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Stupid Windows IPB devs that haven't turned off the thumbnail cache in their control panel. :P
Mark Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 :o I never hear the end of it when there's MACOSX_ folders! I'm sure Matt could modify his build script to strip them out.
Management Matt Posted June 30, 2009 Management Posted June 30, 2009 I did add some code to our build script to remove these. Will check that.

teraßyte Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I've reported the thumbs.db files as a bug and matt marked it as fixed, seems he forgot to check some folders :P
