SlimJimScot
Hi, First - can someone point me to the place I can find instructions about how to upgrade to the latest version of IPBoard? I have this problem every time - and it's very difficult to find any information about how to upgrade versions - so can I suggest this important information is posted somewhere that makes it easy to find - or even better - have instructions in the upgrade files. It would save a lot of time - and potential problems. Thanks. Jim
stoo2000
It's in the knowledge base... https://www.invisionpower.com/index.php?appcomponent=core&module=customer_area§ion=kb&do=viewarticle&id=328 It's very simple, upload all of the files, and then visit yourdomain.com/whereyourforumis/upgrade
Mark
There are instructions in the download... they're in the "Documentation" folder. If you have an active support license, you could also send in a ticket (or give us a call, depending on what license you have) and we can arrange for a technician to perform the upgrade for you. Richard H
Mark This may sound like a stupid question but does this support extend to getting a deveopment board up and running using IPB3 beta 4 ? For some reason I cannot get it running as a fresh install let along an upgrade... I just wanted to have it running to see the admin side of the forum of IPB3 away from my production board for me to look at first in preparation for it being released.. Thanks
Michael
IPS won't give official support to the beta versions, but once you have a support license you'll get access to the customer forums where we (fellow customers) can help you with any installation problems you have.
