ACL
Great job with the beta. As a software developer I can appreciate the amount of work it must have taken. I assume many thousand man hours have been spent to date. Maybe I'm missing something but I downloaded the beta, unzipped and looked at the install instructions. Did I look in the right place. I couldn't see anything on the need to install ioncube etc. Can someone point me to the install instructions. Thanks,
Ziv Grosu
The same way of IPB 2.3.6 Installation Process (Upload all your IPB 3.0 files to your FTP) then goto the installation page and if there's a problem with an ioncube loader, you will have to contact your host to enable Ioncube on his server (and I'm not sure I can help you anymore just because it's still BETA version). bfarber
On most servers you don't have to edit php.ini - you just upload the ioncube folder and it's auto loaded as needed.

Would it be possible for someone at Invision to spend a few hours and provide some install docs and Q&A. I realize it's a Beta but just half a page of instructions would go a long way. I'm sure there are probably hundreds of people who might benefit from something that outlines the basic steps and things to watch for with Beta installs. sunrisecc
I tried and it wont work on WAMP. In WAMP (not MAMP), I added the ioncube directive to php.ini in bin/apache/apache#/bin and used the full path.
