Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 21, 200916 yr In ACP i saw that you can give the members an ability to write their own Member Title, but the problem is that they need to achieve a post count for them to do it. Is there a way to make it so a specified membergroup can change their Member Titles whenever they want and whatever their post count is? Like, for example, if i have a Donator membergroup and for donating i want them to have an award - changing their own member titles and so they can change them whatever their post count is.

March 28, 200916 yr and you can't put in a postcount of zero or one for a certain membergroup? VEnter 0 to disable completely And 1 would still require members to make a post to use a custom title. What do you mean. I can't find an option which allows you to set custom member titles for certain membergroups. There isn't one, just the global postcount based option for all groups... although I really would like custom title and avatar permissions by group, but I have my doubts IPS will be adding those any time soon...
March 29, 200916 yr There is a mod available that lets you do this already: Group Title Permissions. You should be able to grab a copy from invisiontweaks.com and both IPS Resources and Invisionize might have it as well, it requires the Universal Mod Installer.
