Brandon D
I noticed that if you enable Converge on an IPB3 install "Username" is changed to "Username or email address" on the login form, which is different to how "Username" is changed to just "Email address" on IPB2. This implies that you can login using your IP.Converge username, added to IPC 1.1, on IPB3. This isn't the case for people logging into IPB for the first time using their converge account (they have to login using their email address until IPB creates a local account for them in which they can now use their username to login). Is this intended?
Mark
IPB 3 is a bit of a special case - we built in username support before we built it into Converge. Will be fixed before final :)
Brandon D
So am I right in thinking that /converge/api/modules/ipb will be set to use username authentication? If so you might want to do that and get IPB3 fully supporting usernames before IPC goes final ;)

Brandon D
Ah... but it'll still support logging in with a username sent by Converge when the account is added to IPB?
