Just wondering if this may have been overlooked at all, just in case?

I want to continue to avoid the situation where banned members could still receive e-mail subscription topic/forum reply notifications.

Once in IPBv2.x this was a bug that was kindly fixed when I reported it for the next release at the time. One of ex-moderators got an e-mail reply notification from our staff forum that caused a lot of my members a lot of grief becasue the board didn't check the ban filters before sending out the email and it contained a copy of a post from our staff forum.

With IPB3.0 being written from the ground up I was concerned it may have been overlooked.
