Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 9, 200916 yr I was looking around at the site, and I have to say I'm thrilled for IPB 3, but one thing I noticed is that in IPB 3, members avatars aren't shown. I think that's a pretty big feature missing, and I also think you should have the group icons in the profile as well. It just helps show a little bit more about the member and I hope you take this into consideration :)
March 9, 200916 yr I think they said something about profile pics in your profile and avatar everywhere else
March 9, 200916 yr My avatar is showing. I believe he's referring to it not being shown on profiles anymore.
March 9, 200916 yr I kinda like it being profile pics in the profile and avatar everywhere else. It makes your profile feel less like just "who you are on the forums" and more of a social-networking-like "who you are, period." Adds an aspect to IPB3 that most forum designers overlook. However, it is annoying me that my signature image is no longer displaying for me...

Your problem is the font size you added to the text, it over sized the image url an placed spaces in the url. Reformat it and it will work.
March 9, 200916 yr It was an issue with the image address itself, not with IPB. I put a copy on my own server and pointed my signature at that. Then, all i had to do was wait for the sig cache to reset.
March 9, 200916 yr Good. I was able to pull the image from the old site, I just had to remove the spaces.
March 12, 200916 yr I still wish hope they can at least add the group icon back to it :) Your can you, in the manager groups area of the ACP.
