The popup menu is empty.

Good thing its a BETA. Report that to IE 8. If a product that hasn't been change since 5 months ago doesn't work a new product, its up to that new product to make it work.

I can edit & view the menu fine in Ie8 RC (the real release not the leaked one), in both compatibility mode, and standards mode.

I have just quick edited my post from IE8 RC1 - Build 18372 & it works perfectly.

IE 8 RC 1 is NOT a BETA according to MS site

please use the bug tracker for bugs.
