I think that there should also be a disallow list, so if you want to disallow only one character you can. I really think it's only logical to include a character disallow list, since some other software has characters they disallow, and with only an allow list integration can sometimes be made more of a pain than it should be. It's not that simple, Chinese and Japanese have literally thousands of characters, it's not logical, reasonable, or sane to have to put that many characters into the allow list. As things stand the only/best solution is to manually enter each (wildcarded) character into the Ban Filter.
