blackfalcon Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 I think a setting that allows us to set a forum where all post reports go, instead of it spamming all of our mods emails. This would also allow moderators to reply to the thread when they have handled the situation. Also, if moderators could only see reports of threads in forums that they have moderatory access to. Or you could make this part of the modcp you guys should be making...

Jυra Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Report panel > report forum I'm so glad IPS is at least trying to fix the way out of date moderation set up.
blackfalcon Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 you can do this with the current IP software?
Wondering Soul Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 you can do this with the current IP software? Not quite as you described. In the next release of IP.Board (version 3) this section of the board has been completely re-designed. You can read about it in the blog post that I linked to above.
Alex Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 you can do this with the current IP software? Yes you can, but only with components :) You can find them at IPS Resources.
blackfalcon Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 well... I guess as I use a Invision Power hosted board, there goes that idea.
Lindsey_ Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Most components are made to use no file edits at all :)
blackfalcon Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 not quite what I was going at. IP hosts are meant so you can not use any modifications at all... none. It is encrypted that way.
bfarber Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 not quite what I was going at. IP hosts are meant so you can not use any modifications at all... none. It is encrypted that way. Yes and no. You are not allowed to modify the source files. Any components that do not require file edits will work just fine.
Mark Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 AH Modding Report centre (here: http://resources.invisionpower.com/index.p...;showfile=1098) can be installed on an encrypted board. It requires no file edits.
