I recently had a problem between two users and it seemed almost pertinent that I absolutely ignore PMs but posts weren't quite so necessary. Unfortunately there is currently only a way to do a full ignore not a partial ignore so it would be nice to at least split ignores into two like ignore PMs and ignore posts.

I know it would be easier for my members to put someone on ignore PMs from certain users if they had the option.

I agree there, I have people on ignore here and I still some times want to see the posts so have to click on the little thing to make it visible.

You can block user's pms entirely separately from ignoring users (by adding them to your pm block list). Isn't that what you are asking for? If so it's already there (though PM ignore is not called "ignore").
