Morrigan
I think it would be pretty awesome to have an advertisements forum where only Customers can post new topics but anyone can see and reply to.
Ziv Grosu
Is that a feedback for the NEXT IPB3 Release? You can add your "Advertisment" (something like a little banner , logo or any-other thing) to the signature. If not, you have the "About Me" page and you can write a letter that describes your own forum , explain how did you decide to upload your board to the net , etc... I'm guess the staff will not get this suggest because the IPS Forums are for their products and they are not going to give us make a new lounge for ads, that makes a problem. and If you would want to see a new department of "Advertisments Longue" I think this can be really nice! :)
Morrigan
Well I understand that you can advertise it in your signature and everything (note how mine is rightfully there) but things like this:http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=276529 Make me think, I'm trying to advertise but there's no forum for it so I'm going to post a thread to advertise. Lindsey_
I agree. Maybe have it as a subforum under the IPS Customer Lounge area.
bfarber
Eh, me personally, I feel that this is a business website, our company website, and not really an ad dumping ground. We have the links manager at the resource site, viewable by all, which I personally feel is plenty. Just me (on a personal level) though. ;)
