marklcfc Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 The option for members to view all posts as one forum. Some members might not like lots of different catagories, some do. You can't please them all so having this option could be good. So it works like "view new posts", but whenever they come to the forum all they see is one forum to enter, and we choose what thats called for members who select that option (or even the member themself if possible). Members who prefer this can then read and reply to topics from all over the forums much easier.
Morrigan Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are asking. Are you asking for a link to all new posts? Or a link "through" a forum for new posts?
henke37 Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Something like this is what he wants: select * from topics

Jaggi Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 yes and posts tables with 100,000 rows in them wouldn't kill your browser/db at all :P.
krocheck Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 This is useful for an active board with lots of forums that a user wants to be in the action. It is basically a static 'active threads' display. With pagination Jaggi :P Keith
