.Matt.
Signature line has been the same since IPB 1.0.1(look what we made version). Maybe do something with CSS rather then a "------"?
Wondering Soul
Your free to change it if you wish. Personally I think its fine like it is.
Jυra
Aren't IPB skinners able to change it anyway?
Cybertimber2009
That may or may not be a language file change actually, rather than a skin change.
TrixieTang
Aren't IPB skinners able to change it anyway? It doesn't take a skinner at all, in fact it's unbelievably easy, one template to edit and knowledge of HTML are all you need. I used to use vB, and honestly, finding that the signature line was it's own template in IPB was when I realized how awful vB really was for skinning. .Matt.
Just thought a new default signature line would look nice, other then having to do it myself. Would look nicer on IPB's end.
Josh
You'll be happy to know that IPB3 does indeed have a new signature line ;)
Jυra
I think if it's something easy to change, then it's no big deal. So where is at that you can change it? Hopefully the default will look like this: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Rikki
The line is actually generated with CSS in IPB3, so you can make it look however you want - or if you wanted to go back to ---- you can just put it in the skin bit.

Now that I think about it, that's even better than the single template.
Mert
As far as we heard from reliable resources, signature line is where developers have been stuck for months. They couldn't resolve the issue yet but once they're done IPB 3 will be released. One of the developers also added: "We'll use ~~~~~~~~ instead of ----------- and it'll be a huge step forward in our business line". Customers are extremely excited about the change in signature lines. "That was what stopping me to buy an IPB license." said a vB customer and added "If they change it would be the #1 one to buy a license for it, and I know I'm not the only one!!!".
