Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
ikillbill Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Hi can we add "MOVE all members' posts/topics" function on ACP? sometimes, we don't want to delete them straight in case of that member can back to complain and ask us to show"proof! we just want to move all of his posts to a special or even hidden board
TrixieTang Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 You should put it in your TOS that you won't remove posts just because someone wants to leave and have all their posts removed, it ruins threads by making other's replies nonsensical, and it's easier than deleting all of a member's posts just because they want it.
ikillbill Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 It is more than that we time to time have some real person flood our forum in un-careful manner we don;t want to delete them straight but move all posts to a hidden place for storage of evidence..etc
henke37 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 It's not THAT difficult to do this manually with some db queries.
ikillbill Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 yes, I guess so since there is "delete all" in ACP, I gusss it should be NO problem for IPB team to add "move all"
