marklcfc
I noticed this self made mod on a football site, unfortunately you can only see results in this picture as voting is over but members have a selection of 1-10 next to each player and rate each one like this It would be brilliant t o have this option available, for my personally, but i'm sure it would benefit many more people too. Morrigan
That actually would be rather interesting. I don't think I could use it personally but it would be helpful to some. :D
Alex
Could see it useful in questionnaires :) On a scale of 1/10 blah... +
TrixieTang
Speaking of polls, I wanna see an option to make polls public, as in the poll starter can set it so everyone can see who voted.
henke37
I hope you guys do realize that this information isn't saved currently, you can't show what isn't saved.
TSP
I wish you could have an option you could activate and it would ask the voter if he/she was a girl or boy. That way you didn't need to have: Do you like bananas? I love bananas and I'm a boy I love bananas and I'm a girl I hate bananas and I'm a girl I hate bananas and I'm a boyOR:Do you like bananas? (boys) I love bananas I love bananasDo you like bananas? (girls) I hate bananas I hate bananasThen you only needed: Do you like bananas? I love bananas I hate bananas Choose gender: Male/Female And it wouldnt be unfair since the voting system could calculate it a way that made the results "correct" even though only 25 girls voted against 100 boys. Cool Surfer
If the option to add a correct answer which is revealed after the member posts or when he clicks on show the right answer , plus a stat showing total polls answered n correct answers then more institutions and medical fraternity might go for IPB. henke37
For tracking the gender, note that IPB already provides that as a profile field.
Luke
I would like to see an option to hide results of the poll, even after someone has voted. There are some situations where you don't want people's votes being effected by a majority. Like some sort of date option that closes the poll after a certain date, and the results are made available then. Would also be neat to see who voted for what, and determine if everyone can see this, or if only the poll starter can see this. For tracking the gender, note that IPB already provides that as a profile field. Yes, but there is no way to determine who voted for what, so you don't know how many of what gender voted for what. I honestly don't see why you'd need to know this in form polls, but in different studies, this can be useful.
Jυra
Speaking of polls, I wanna see an option to make polls public, as in the poll starter can set it so everyone can see who voted. Showing votes could be nice, but I personally want to see the polls system remain basic.
TrixieTang
Showing votes could be nice, but I personally want to see the polls system remain basic. Basic? IPB already has more options for polls than any other software I can think of, I mean vB doesn't have a way to attach multiple poll questions to a single thread, nor does any other software I know of. And I do think seeing poll voters would be worth it to have.
Jυra
True, it explains why many of my members and I don't know how to add a poll to a thread.
peter_anderson
Wow. A Rangers poll ;) That is a cool idea, +1 from me :)
HighlanderICT
How about making the option to show possible poll answers in a drop-down box .... ? like the Rangers poll above, we use ours for something similar (Player of the Year) and it means we have to list up to 14 options for each of 3 different questions .... see what i mean here : http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...?showtopic=7896. If we could choose to display the poll options in different ways instead of just a radio button then we could reduce the amount of space taken up by them. It would also be nice if there was an option to either display results as normal or have them show in a litebox instead of on the page itself
