are you serious?

After IPB 3 :shifty:

Or maybe "When it's done"?

At least tell us when you'll be installing IPB 3 on here ;)

I'm itching to report bugs!

Guys, it'll be ready when it's ready.

I'm really doubting it will be final by Q4 now. ANything's possible, but just judging by the date today's blog entry was posted, it not having any dates in it still, and it stating there are still more blog entries in the future makes me think it will still be another month or so before any sort of public testing is done and then judging by past experience I doubt it would be finished in the less than 2 months it would have remaining to meet the end of Q4.

Hopefully it still does become final by now, but things seem to be moving too slowly for that soon of a release date. :)

There are ~100 days remaining to meet end of 4th quarter, which is slightly more than 3 months.

How can you even begin to think that when you have absolutely no knowledge of our development process. What are you basing your theory on? The blog entries? The amount of staff discussion?

We said Q4 and that's what we're still aiming for. As Brandon noted in his blog entry, most of the 'big' stuff is done, most of the 'medium' stuff is done and a lot of the 'small' stuff is done.

Maybe IPB3 will be released on December 25 as a Christmas present...

i think we will see beta testing in a few weeks

you haven't seen how far its come and as matt said its so close to being completed and i believe all the new/big stuff is done so everything is right on target for the moment. When it is final by q4 i'm going to make you print off your post and eat it :P .

If you think we're working on Christmas day you're crazy :P

I meant 2 months if it were a month before public testing.

I'm just judging by how long the beta process took on smaller releases. Also I said it may very well really meet the deadline. I personally am just not so sure based off of past experience. I'm not complaining, but simply guessing. :)

well we do not want them to work on Christmas but that would be nice.
Maybe have it done on the 23 or 24 and have some one remote to the site and set it to be able to be downloaded on the night of the 24th. :)

2012 ;)

No, thats vB 4 you're that will be out in 2012 ;)

ah could be who knows.
I saw a thing on TV that the world was going to end on 2012.

Bah, the world was meant to end multiple times :P Most recent being this month, but oh well, I take no notice :P
