Kfir Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 I'm really excited for the upcoming IPB 3.0 release, but in the meantime I use VBulletin based on a points system called VBCredits. My whole community is based on points, and I would like to know if IPB 3.0 will have points convertor? VBCredits also can support real money purchasing (via Paypal, and more alternatives to come), so since you decided to make the points system built in feature I would like to have this option too. Mark Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 There are 3rd party mods similar to VBCredits out there - if, when you convert to IPB you ask the conversion team to keep the points column in the member table, and then install iPoints or something similar, you should find everything as it was (check with the author of the points system you are installing that the installer won't drop the column if it already exists) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
