Tony
There's a phone number on the site! :) Yea, but I don't think that they speak "multilanguage". Some users can't speak English good(or can't pronounce English words at all), but they can type it so IPS employees can understand them.
Rοb
If it is a sales enquiry and it has been a few days I'd re-mail them to ensure it actually got through. Just a thought (considering it is Sunday), if it was on Friday when you initially requested information it *might* not have been looked at yet (depending on what time you sent it) as i believe the offices are closed over the weekend. Please don't quote me on that though! :)
joshyc5
\Yeah it would be a good idea but if you say the phoneing is offline and you need to talk with them live Use live chat...
ColdinCbus
If they are not in the office to answer the phone, I am thinking they are not going to be in the office to answer a live chat request.

Yorkshireman
There's a phone number on the site! If I recall correctly, it is an American number so it isn't really practical for, as an example, a person from the UK to ring whereas a Live Support service would be ideal. Alex
There is an outside number, does cost though, but yeah we can get hold of them from the UK.
Yorkshireman
There is an outside number, does cost though, but yeah we can get hold of them from the UK. That's the point I'm making... Whereas Live support wouldn't, I presume (usually doesn't).
Mark
You can use Skype, which is free to call the US number.
Yorkshireman
You can use Skype, which is free to call the US number. Don't you need credit or something to use Skype?I know little on Skype; I dislike it, thus I chose to ignore it.
Guest
I think you do, but I know something's free (I used it once to call long-distance.)
Mat Barrie
Well, they DO have LivePerson, but there's no links to it. As such, I don't guarantee it'll work, but I chopped the IPS details into a LivePerson "chat" link: http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/367045.../standards.html. It'll either work or it wont! Renita
I don't think it's such a bad idea to be honest. Other sites I know have IRC channels offering support which works fast and simple and is available to everyone no matter where you live. It's costly to call IPB when you aren't in the US and the language is a problem too for some people. (my native language is Dutch for example, even though I live in Mexico atm)
Keith J. Kacin
Well, they DO have LivePerson, but there's no links to it. When someone is in the chat, the link appears. If no one is in the link does not appear. Forging the link won't make someone be in the live chat. Mat Barrie
When someone is in the chat, the link appears. If no one is in the link does not appear. Forging the link won't make someone be in the live chat. Hmm, ok. I've never actually seen the link appear - does that mean noone is ever in the live chat? That's a bit silly, really. Yorkshireman
Why not have an isolated (from the board) system like www.hostmonster.com (and many other places) have?
