Posted May 9, 200816 yr Could you make a mod control panel that lets them manage post approval, reported posts and maybe warns? This would make it easier if all unapproved posts were all in one place.
May 9, 200816 yr Be better to have reports create threads in the admin's forum of choice if you ask me, also a report PM feature.

May 9, 200816 yr I second this idea as well At the moment exists a mod that does that for the 2.3. versions and I find it very useful
May 10, 200816 yr I prefer a mod center similar to Report Manager. Topics are harder to manage and you would have to have like three forums to pull it off in a forum fashion, one for the initial report, one for completed and one for archives. That's a bit tedious and a lot of forums to have just for one feature. I like the way Report Manager handles it a lot and would like something like that or something similar to the phpBB or SMF Mod Control Panel. I particularly like it to have the features of Report Manager or the Mod control panel on phpBB or SMF because then you can restrict which reports mods see because I would prefer that not all of my mods are able to see all reports as they can't do anything about them unless they are a mod of that section and it keeps your reports organized so you can refer to them if there is a problem in the future.

Can always reply and say it's been dealt with, or if you prefer change the topic title to include "Resolved" ;)
May 10, 200816 yr Can always reply and say it's been dealt with, or if you prefer change the topic title to include "Resolved" ;)Problem with that is that you can lose reported posts like that as well. If you reply and bump it a newly reported topic can fall below the ones that are getting resolved and get lost forever. I'm already having a problem finding posts I haven't replied to right now let alone a forum filled with things that I will be replying to. I also prefer things neat and tidy so I'm an avid deleter in admin forums when things are no longer necessary and so again, one forum is useless and three too many and pointless. You also have the fact that all of the mods are still able to see all of the reports unless there is some magic way that you can filter them on a per mod basis and I doubt that will happen if its going to a forum.
