The Old Man
@The Old Man, we have an open bug report with reports that the Pro skin templates are not updating in the upgrade. If the links show in your classic blue skin, but not the pro skin, that is most likely the issue. Support will be able to tell for sure. Thanks, I'm trying to find it now, it might be the one Jason mentioned in the support ticket. I checked and the links are visible in the blue skin, but not the Pro skin. I'm stuck in limbo with this for the time being. Updated: Yes its the same bug tracker issue but it says flagged for future version. I'll update my ticket 480790 to see if I can get someone to fix the issue. Cheers
The Old Man
Thanks to Jason explaining the procedure, I have updated the templates manually that the 2.3.5 updater failed to do in the IPBPro skin. If anyone else has this problem:Hello, They need to be updated manually. Use the manual differences report.. What you have to do, check the template bits in the report.. Edit the Pro skin, any of the template bits listed in the differences report that is in the Pro skin WITH A RED BOX BESIDE it, you need to manually update. If there is no red box, then it would have been automatically updated and there is nothing for you to do in that template bit. OPEL KLUB Hungary
Un-Official Message: Bug Fixes. Slow Portal Plugin MySQL Query (Last X Topics), creates very high load. (I am including my fix) etc... We should wait for IPS News update :) hi today we've successfully upgraded our 2.3.4 ipb to 2.3.5 with the upgrade package supplyed on the webpage. however this upgrade broke our recent topics portal plug-in. to "fix" it, we've copyed back our 2.3.4 /sources/portal_plugins/recent_topics.php and it worked. my questions are: was this a wise idea at all to copy back that old file? ;) anyone know what could've went wrong with the upgrade? (we had no errors during the proces) or is the 2.3.5 version of recent_topics.php just broken? thanks in advance wd
