The ACP has a nice feature regarding the ability to email, set per user group.

Can email members from the board?

Leave bottom section blank to remove limits Yes No

Only allow x emails in a 24hr period

...and only allow 1 email every x minutes

But there is no similar restriction for PM.
We need this, so that we can restrict the newbies group from spamming members with tons of PMs. (Of course we can disable PMs for newbies group altogether, but that would be wrong, because its useful, for example, in cases where we warn them, so that they can reply to moderators, etc.)

I hope the IPB developers consider adding that option in future updates.

I agree :) ... Since using IPB 1.3 I've wondered why the same e-mail restrictions weren't added to PM :unsure:
