What happened to the IPB home page portal that used to come with IPB? I used to be an IPB maniac back when you were free and I installed ipb's for fun, now I'm back and building a site for my company and can't find that home page portal that used to come with IPB. Previous versions had front page portal plug in and I just bought the new version and I can't find it? Did you nerf it?

The IPB portal's still there...It's under Tools & Settings - it's either called Portal, or IPB Portal, or something like that. It's just disabled by default in 2.3, since nobody really uses it.

Why doesn't anyone use it? Is there a better mod out there?

It is still there, and the ACP Help Text on that page mentioned explains how to make it your first page.
