if i wanna install IPB on something.domain.com but i already have installed IPB on forum.domain.com can i install it using the same key on something.domain.com ?( the domin is the same, the subdomains difer)

As per the license, you are only permitted to have one installation of IP.Board per license, so I'm afraid what you want to do would require two licenses.
