Posted June 18, 200717 yr It would make sense to be able to choose what forthcoming events should be displayed (like events AND birthdays).Either having this as an option for birthdays with own forthcoming settings (as with events) OR include birthdays as an option to the already existing functionality of events?E.g. Currently the following can be shown: "Forthcoming Calendar Events within the next 30 days", but there isn't a option to do the same with birthdays. The cleanest way would of course be to add an own option for birthdays;Current display;Today's Birthdayscalendar 1 member is celebrating his/her birthday todaytest_user(28)Suggested display (option);Today's Birthdays1 member is celebrating his/her birthday todaytest_user(28)Forthcoming Birthdays within the next 7 daystest_user2(33) test_user3(21)I believe this would allow IP.Board to support a wider amount of user groups, especially smaller communities and family boards?

August 9, 200717 yr This is better to me implanted as a modification. he loads would be to great on a server to implant this as a standard feature.
August 9, 200717 yr This is better to me implanted as a modification. he loads would be to great on a server to implant this as a standard feature. With proper ACP settings (on/off, groups permissions, etc), the 'load' can be chosen by the admin per board and its usage.Today there are many features that would put pressure on the DB, but fortunately you can chose not to have them :)Forthcoming birthdays within the next XX days, ought to have these as well.
