Batch-move Search Result Threads

If a Moderator or Admin could batch-move threads from a search results page (with the little checkboxes that are on a regular forum page), that would be beautiful thing.

The ability to mass move threads from a search results page would be a wonderful thing.

As an example, as the years go by, specific topics become common enough to eventually justify their own forum. So it would be a real time saver if I could create a new forum, then do a thread-title search for the new forum's topic, and move pages of threads at a time into the new forum.

Yes, there are several times in my forum's history that this would have been SUPREMELY useful. I can't tell you how much time I've spent moving one topic at a time into a new forum I've created.

Or it would be helpful if they could mass do anything, Such as approve posts or Close, This may just help when large numbers need changing

I agree it would be nice, but it's extremely complex as well, since you can get search results from different forums and per-forum moderators can have different moderator abilities to these different forums.

I had a feeling you were going to say something similar to that.

Maybe at a minimum, a mass-move option could be available to Admins or Mods that have Super Moderator permissions?

Even if this could only be used by admins and global mods that would be fine by me and would hopefully simplify that a fair bit. I do see what you're saying about permissions for per-forum moderators, that would be a pain.

Yes. I have 20 mods that are Super Mods - so that would be way cool.
