Posted April 2, 200717 yr Actually, when you set up an RSS import, you can specify the encoding of the feed. Great. Now, if I want to import an RSS feed in english (lang="en") in a french board (lang="fr"), I'm not able to specify that the imported posts will be in english and not in french. Can you add an option like that for a next release?
April 3, 200717 yr Um, that would require that IPB come with a translation program. To get a feed in english, you need to find a feed that has text in english.
April 3, 200717 yr IPB just imports the feed - it doesn't translate between languages (and never will).
April 3, 200717 yr I'm not talking about translating the content, I'm talking about being able to specify the language of the content (add something like {content} if I import an english feed for example).
April 3, 200717 yr I don't even understand what difference that would make or why it is even necessary :S
