ErwinB
Actually, when you set up an RSS import, you can specify the encoding of the feed. Great. Now, if I want to import an RSS feed in english (lang="en") in a french board (lang="fr"), I'm not able to specify that the imported posts will be in english and not in french. Can you add an option like that for a next release?
Digi
Um, that would require that IPB come with a translation program. To get a feed in english, you need to find a feed that has text in english.
bfarber
IPB just imports the feed - it doesn't translate between languages (and never will).
ErwinB
I'm not talking about translating the content, I'm talking about being able to specify the language of the content (add something like {content} if I import an english feed for example). Luke
Why the heck would you want to do that
Digi
I don't even understand what difference that would make or why it is even necessary :S
