here is another suggestion,

could IPB implement a system whereby new users are denied the ability to post any URL (for example http://www.someadress.com/somespam) or post IMAGES in their first X number of posts ?

99 out of 100 spammers I ban from my forums post their URL spam in the first post (viagra/meds/pr0n/whatever)

The admin could decide how many posts a new user can make before allowing them to post URLS etc.

I would like to see this implemented in IPB
