One site ... one license.

You should contact Invision to see if they do multi-license deals.

Hello,

With IP.Hosting you get a free IP.Board License which is yours for the life of the hosting account. However it is encoded and will only work on IP.Hosting Server. As it is encoded you cannot make modifications to the board source. If you would like to have this option you would need to purchase a IP.Board License.

If you would like more information into the specifics of IP.Hosting your best bet would be to email sales@invisionpower.com, or if you are a currenct IPS Customer to open a ticket in your Client Center.

For specific questions, I would check with sales@invisionpower.com because they can tell you the nitty gritty. I believe you only can install it on one website and it is only active with your hosting account. So if you are looking for something different then just buy a board license.

If your site is hosted on IPS Hosting, you get access to all upgrades and technical support for the product, but not full source code access and only while you have an active IPS Hosting account. If you leave IPS Hosting your license ceases to exist.

If you buy an actual IP.Board license, you can run one public board, and one test board that cannot be accessed by the general public or that has registrations disabled. You have full source code access to make modifications. When you sign up for a license, you enter in your board URL in your client center. If your board URL changes, you simply change the URL in your client center to update IPS' records.
