December 7, 200618 yr I have one more question.if I purchase IP.Board, IP.Gallery and IP.Blog systems, and install all of them, I can do that when a member will sign up to the board, he will sign up to the gallery and the blog too?I mean, I can do like here that they will be conected? And what is IP.Converge?
December 7, 200618 yr Hello Nir,Yes, IP. Board, Blog and Gallery are completly integrated - however, members can choose whether or not to make use of the blog and/or gallery. If you click 'My Controls' on your forum - your members will have the option to create a blog, or a gallery album. This is done completly automatically - you don't have to do anything to enable this integration (other than install the products!)Converge is an application that will allow two or more boards to share the same member database. For example, if you own two IPB licenses, you could use Converge to make it so that your members will only register once, but will be able to log in at both boards.Converge will also be used in upcoming IPS products, should you choose to purchase them, your members will not need to sign up several times for different areas of your website.
December 7, 200618 yr IP. Converge is included free with IP.Board version 2.2. There is no additional charge for this feature. If you have any further questions, please contact sales@invisionpower.com ... note that IP.Converge is not yet out as a final supported release.
December 8, 200618 yr Ok, if i buy a license with 6 months support/upgrades can i still run my board after 6 months without paying the $25 for support/upgrades? and if so can i just pay the $25 at any time i want to get the upgrades?
December 8, 200618 yr If you choose not to renew, your board would remain completely functional. You can pay the renewal at a later date to receive upgrades and support.
