I think that adding the Online page for search if a specific member is apear on the Online list.
I think it would be nice option.

Or you could just go to that specific member's profile to see if their online. Or add them to your Friends list and pop up that window on any page to see if their online.

yeah, imo, its too redundant... there are plenty of ways to easily check online status.

I agree. There are already enough ways to check if someone is on-line, this would be pretty stupid. :P

If you'd have mentioned this a few years ago then it might have actually been a good idea.
