November 13, 200618 yr It happens on IPS Beyond when it starts happening here - it's not really IPB related. The server is just getting overloaded/busy.
November 13, 200618 yr ^ Just, why? I know I'm going to get moaned at for posting this, but why would you even reply to him as if it were you who helped him out, when in fact you didn't. It's silly.
November 13, 200618 yr It happens to me when I try to take sql backup using phpmyadmin. So i have to take the backup the dump way.
November 13, 200618 yr Not entirely sure, but I believe this happens when PHP is unable to process the request, so Apache has nothing to send to the buffer with no headers (blank). Without a file type header, your browser attempts to "download" the blank "index.php" like a file download. This can happen when the server get's busy, or there is an internal error with PHP that's not related to the script. I *think* it is either a PHP crash, or a random occurrence where the request doesn't get to PHP.... If the script had an execution problem, PHP would return something like "Maximum execution time" or something...Kind of a random thing :).
