Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 8, 200618 yr View Public Profile ---> It should be "View Member Profile"Add Friend ---> And also "Add as Friend" NOT "Add Friend" Find Member's Topics ---> Why is find member topics is missing? you shouldn't have to go all the way to main profile and click "Options" then click "Find Member's Topics" It should be a quick as finding member post.---I posted all these stuff earlier but didn't get reply if they would be change or not. If this will stay as default, I want to know for sure..Herehttp://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=227901
November 8, 200618 yr You should post this in the bug tracker. They look through the topics in there and will tell you if its a bug or not.

November 10, 200618 yr I agree with the OP. Find members topics shoud be included in the dropdown. Thanks Brandon :)
November 11, 200618 yr They were good suggestions, and am glad that Brandon has implemented all of them into IPB. Thanks, Brandon! :)
November 11, 200618 yr Done, done, and doneWill you also change the tooltip to "View Member Profile" when you hover the mouse over a member's avatar?
November 12, 200618 yr Will you also change the tooltip to "View Member Profile" when you hover the mouse over a member's avatar? Also, it needs to change to "View Member Profile" on postview when clicking on the drop-down menu to display the options for that member in postview.
November 12, 200618 yr I like the feedback. I'll take a look.Did you check this part from my "Couple of things" topic?16.New Topic, Addreply, Fast Replying & PM Error Handling Issue--Let's say, I did not insert anything inside the text editor and left it blank..why must it load and go to another page to show that "You must enter a post". It should be simple..i.g you can have a pop saying that forTopic Title Error: "You must enter a topic title with atleast 3 charc or more etc before you can continue" and forMessage Error: "You must enter at least 3 or more charc message before you can continue" and if someone did not fill any of them it would be like "You must enter Topic title/Message before you can w/e" I don't like how it goes to another page to show me the stupid error. It's a total waste.....The error handling of IPB is really POOOOOOR---Please look thru my topic all the way to the bottom of the page for some fix and good suggestions..http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=227901
November 12, 200618 yr Yeah, we need ajax error handling (like on the register page, say if you type a name too long or whatever, you get the lovely inline message).
November 13, 200618 yr Yeah, we need ajax error handling (like on the register page, say if you type a name too long or whatever, you get the lovely inline message).Yep, I'm expecting a reply from bfarber!
November 13, 200618 yr The error handling you are referring to most likely will not make it into IPB 2.2 - those require too much updating to add in at this stage. We would like to update all of the error handling for IPB 3.0.
