hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum, but I noticed that emoticons in the signature do not appear!!?? I'm not sure if this is a bug or it is supposed to be like that!

I tried it on my board and this one, but you can't see them as you can see from my signature

From what I can tell, it's a very easy fix to allow smilies in signatures. You just have to change the parse_smilies value from 0 to 1 in 3 total places (2 in sources/action_public/usercp.php, and 1 in sources/lib/func_usercp.php).

i think by fixing it, the emoticon icon will be removed from the editor when they're not available. ^_^

It would be far easier to just change 3 0s to 1s to fix it, IMO.

Yes, but most likely, they didn't allow emotes in sig for a reason..?
