I think that one feature that should be added into IPB is a complete feature switch. IE, If I do not want "My Assistant" as a global feature, you should be able to turn it off. If you do not wish to have "Forum Led By..." shown when you have moderators, you should be able to turn it off. And The "Invision Power Board 2.2.0 RC 3

OK, so you end up with about 8000 different settings, most of which most people won't use. Isn't it better to include settings for just the commonly changed settings, and let users customize other things like the ones you mentioned on their own?

This is probably the single most difficult thing to balance - settings vs standard functionality (which we DO have to support).
