Ability to make topic visible only to topic starter and the moderating team.

This might help prevent spammers to some extent.

For now I've got it set to new registered members being moderator queued and after X amount of posts they goto a group without.

IIRC, invisible posts cannot be seen by the author, if this is true, I would reccomend it to be changed as I have seen many people make their post several times when it appears to them that it is not there.
On the subject of making a whole topic visible to the topic author, that would be difficult to do unless the whole topic was invisible.

I agree, and that's something I asked for which is a mod on vB.

It works great to have a forum where a person posts, only themselves and staff can see the post. Great for discussing with staff situations as well.
