I don't see this problem on here, nor on my test board, so I'm not submitting it as a bug report, but on my live forums, when I update my personal photo, it doesn't seem to make the thumbnail version of it, it just uploads the original full scale photo. In the meangime I edted profile.php to display a rescaled avatar if there's no personal photo to display, and the gray user head if neither is there. Am I missing some setting to get the thumbnail created?

There are dimension settings in the ACP Settings.

Also, do you have GD installed?

I've got the same issue...

Upload personal photo, works great, but doesn't create a thumbnail version of it...to be displayed like in topic view (when you click a username, and that popup-menu appears with links).

No I havn't. I figured it was "Working as Intended"
