• Jay •
Please include an option in the user cp to allow members to choose which forums they would like to have the new/no-new icons for forums updated. It would be very convenient for members of boards with several forums. As an example, I don't have a license to Nexus or any interest in Dynamic or the Gallery. So it would be easier for me to scan the board index to see where the new posts that I want to read would be if I could choose to not update the new post icons for the forums I don't care about. This isn't covered by the ability to minimize categories because sometimes categories may contain relevant as well as irrelevant forums. Indie Cindy
I think it would be easier to skim down if; insted of disabling the icon, you disabled the section itself and stopped it appearing.+

This suggestion is an alternative way to handle the problem.
Indie Cindy
Hm, I don't see why it wouldn't be implemented. Seems very usefull to me.
Cybertimber2009
Because of members who would choose not to see posts in an announcement forum? And to curcumvent that, and adminstrator would have to disallow the disallowing of not seeing those posts as new.
• Jay •
With the addition of the "Announcements" feature, that's not such a huge problem, imho.
Brandon C
Sounds like a good idea and would be a nice implementation, Jay. +
