Hi,

I have searched the web for answers about this topic, but as it does not seem to exist I would like to propose it.

I would like to be able to do the following.

1. Set the "standard" (not custom) profile fields to "mandatory" (or not) so peaple have to fill them out when registering if I so choose.
2. Edit or remove the "standard" fields I don't want displayed.
3. Edit what fields (and how) to show up in a users post (below the avatar), like I can with the custom fields.

What really needs to happen is IPS need to make these fields custom fields. You could edit them out from your skin I suppose.

Toggles would be useful. Took a lil bit of thinking about it (on the fence) but i do agree. +1
