I haven't seen anyone say they like it as that type of popup, but there have been quite a few who have said they don't like it looking thatw ay. I thought when they get to RC they usually release it quick after the site is upgraded to it, rather than waiting to fix more bugs in it. They could always wait longer, but I don't see why they would have it on their company forum friday, saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, and still not have released it publicly. Last year they released gallery on weekends and maybe even an IPB release, I dont remember about that. No they won't release it on a weekend, but it isn't some rule, because it HAS been done before.
