Petrescu
How do you figure this? They'd been testing for 6 months before beta was even out, it shouldn't take this long unless it's something for something major like 3.0 with new features and a new look. Of course, I have no idea about php programming, but I know these guys are good at what they do and to me this doesn't look like a massive step. Management Matt Posted October 13, 2006 Management Share Posted October 13, 2006 They'd been testing for 6 months before beta was even out.Not true. It had been in development for six months before the beta was out, that's correct. It has not been in testing for six months, however.it shouldn't take this long unless it's something for something major like 3.0 with new features and a new look.See Below. :)Of course, I have no idea about php programmingbut I know these guys are good at what they do and to me this doesn't look like a massive step.See Above :)

Cherrymenthol
Sorry if this has been answered before, but I've not seen it; do we have to wait for the final before we upgrade on our live forums?
Michael
That's up to you. You won't be supported until Final, so if you upgrade any time between now and then and something goes wrong, you're on your own as far as solving the problem. WalleniuM
rc = release candidate = might be ready to releasse, but might have several bugs.you can upgrade, but i would'nt do that. wait for the final, less bugs & less lost of data :P

TestingSomething
I had problems when I upgraded my forum to 2.1 RC2. But just the same, I may at least upgrade my second forum to RC1 since I am the only member on it right now, due to not having advertised any yet.
