When logging into the ACP it is telling me that this version of IPB is out of date. Is this a bug or something?

No it happens on everyone because BETA isnt a full download it will say available update which will take you to 2.1.7

its saying because your board is out of date is because 2.1.7 is the offical full version Up to date download.

Technicaly, the latest full stable version of IPB is 2.1.7.

IPB 2.2 is an unstable, buggy and limited release for testers only.

Hence, the script looks for STABLE releases, not beta versions :)
