Set topic as invisible when posing

It would be nice if you had the ability to set your post as invisible when you make a post (as a moderator option). It's one of the only needed options when making a topic that is missing. Right now you make a topic and then after that make it invisible... But if you have a busy community someone will see it between the time it's posted and the time you make it invisible, and then ask what it's about because it disappeared..... Also would be useful when making moderator comments in a topic.

Well, it would be useful if you can set a post invisible in the first place, which you can, so why not? I'm all for convenience, although I honestly don't make that many of my posts invisible, if at all.

Well it doesnt happen too often when you are making a new topic. That only happens when you have an annoucement and you want to make it invisible so you can make any corrections you need first, or post it and make it visible later.

What happens a lot is when a topic gets out of hand, and as a moderator make comments in it for other moderators to see, but for members not to see. Currently you have to post it first (visible for some length of time) and then make it invisible. If the information posted is meant to be secret, it shouldnt have to be shown for any length of time.

I agree, have often needed to do this. Currently, the best option is to unapprove the whole topic, then post, then approve it.

+1 I completely agree on what you said above, it would be cool to have such option

I agree and I too have needed to do this. This is a definitely needed feature.
