With ajax, you must wait for the "waiting" type of message to go away. i don't see how it helps much, other than if people think it may look a little better being done with ajax. I don't see my 115796 registered members and 1384 user(s) active in the past 30 minutes have any problems with my Lightning Reply option. They love it actually.
