Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Yesterday at 02:04 PM
robirming Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 I would very much like to see a setting where you can choose not to show the 'Purchase Paid Subscriptions' link in My Controls. It feels so confusing to have it there if you don't use it.I know it's possible to skin out, but I think ACP option to not show it would be the right thing to have.Hope to see it added. :)
eyedam Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 I agree and had suggested this myself.Changing a skin means an extra check/manual skin upgrade action at every forums upgrade. Besides, if you really want to disable this page, you also have to modify "index.php"
Rune Tomb Admin Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 I agree, I hate having that aviable to my members, They alwasy say "Gah... Why do u have that there if we cant even use it yo?".
Antony Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 What I'd really like is for the subscription manager (and the calendar) to be components. Then we could have them or not as we pleased and enable/disable them from the AdminCP.
Tiina Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 +1 from me. I've been looking how on earth I can get rid of that Purchase Paid Subscriptions from Profile Options and haven't found an easy way to do it from ACP. Really needs to be added.
stobbo Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 +1 from me.Having them as components would be good.
William Warby Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I also second this request. Paid subscriptions is surely something that a small percentage of customers use. It should be disabled completely by default.-William
