html makrup in posts

Hi guys what I would really like to see in the future versions of ipb is html markup in posts. You know you can specify various little html codes for groups (like <i> for the mods and stuff) well I would think it would b really nice if it displayed that in posts, like it does in vbulletin. I would really appreatiate it if it was there. Thanks!

You can already specify which member groups can/cannot use html markup in posts (via the ACP).

Oooh how do you do that? Could you give me the steps please?

That would be a technical support topic mate, which you could post on IPSbeyond (but trust me, all you really need to know is already in oasiz post). :)

Oh no no no you guys have it all wrong. I meant that various groups )eg: the moderators0 might have a green username. But if they post the green usertitle does not show up. This currently requires a mod I think.

If you do not understand let's say my usertile is drndrw. If I was to make a post it would not display like that. I want it to display like that.

The reason this is not allowed is for a very important reason - what if someone made their username "<b>Fred" without the closing "</b>" - everything on the page after that user's username would be bold.

If you want to make an entire usergroup have a certain colour username (for example, all the admins have red usernames) you can do this via the ACP. Applying it in topics, profile, forum and memberlist view takes a little bit of modding.

Okay. Well I was asking that that feature be added in the next version of ipb. But do you know where I can find a mod for that?
