Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted August 21, 200618 yr Due to the large number of spammer registrations, we have had to go to manual approval. The big problem is, you have to approve an accountin order to view the info they used to sign up. I have one custom field in sign up that only a legitimate user woudl be able to enter the correct info. This is the best tool we have to identify a spammer, most of whom originate in Russia. In order to see what they put there, I have to approve them, then go look at it, then delete them. A hassle. It would be nice to be able to bring up a full profile when the individual is in the validating Q.
