Well, how are you parsing the rows for display? The typical IPB skin passes each row through a skin template to generate the HTML, so all you would need to do is to either edit that particular template or make your own. Then you just send the data through the template to get your formatting.

Here's another version of that mod, works a little better and has a different interface (becomes apart of board settings) :)

The mod works fine for me, I would assume the guys in the support topic didn't install it right.
